Of rash drivers ...

A friend from the office met with an accident on his way back from lunch today. He was riding a bike, and was unable to avoid a head-on collision with a speeding car that was driving up the wrong side of the road. One leg is now in a cast (possible compound fracture), just because of that rash car driver!

I pray that he is completely healed very soon ... and I request you guys to pray for his total healing too!

When I considered the sequence of events, I shuddered at the realisation that it could easily have been much much worse ... Life is unpredictable as it is ... I think we could do without rash drivers altogether ... So, all you drivers out there, please drive responsibly ... one error on your part could turn someone's life upside down ...

Buddy, I pray that you are completely healed extremely fast, and are back with that great smile and cheerful disposition that wins u so many friends (& girlfriends) wherever u go!

I'll be praying for your friend too. Sometimes in our arrogance we think one or two minutes is worth risking someone else's life.
Let's take it as a lesson to consider "all" the consequences when we act. If it just tempers one rash act at least something good will come out of it.
I'll be praying for your friend and paying closer attention to my acts.
Take care,
Skittishkat

hey...thanks for dropping by...um..b'lore's traffic sucks! I was driving today and almost hit a stubborn pedestrian who refused to walk on the footpath in spite of my repeated 'honkings'(lol)!!!I hit the brake and he slowly moved...and cars behind halted..it was scary for me. I mean that guy was chilled out. But it made me realise i gotta be responsible. Ur right one wrong move and he couldve been hurt!even tho a min back he wasn bothered@!
Nice post tho !hope ur fren recovers...best wishes.

yeah, quite often pedestrians are like that ... in bombay it's the same ... there are no pavements to walk on ... so pedestrians have to share roads with cars and buses ... and that often causes accidents

@CT

Once again, may God bless ya all kind souls for taking the time to say a prayer for someone u don't even know ... Thanks :)

Just recently, while my family was coming back from a trip, we saw a motorcyclists lying on the ground and his friends rushing to him. My mom's a nurse so we stopped the van (my dad borrowed a van specially for the trip) and checked on the man.

Seems that he got distracted and because of that, he got a broken leg as well. It was pretty bad, and as we brought him to the nearest clinic, he was still bleeding. But luckily we got there safely...

It's scary when someone gets into an accident... makes you realize how precious life is.

Thank God your friend is fine though! I'll also pray for his recovery... and the guy my family saved. ^^

Take care and God bless!
