Affairs ...
Whilst surfing the net for intersting blogs, I came across this one: http://affairstory.blogspot.com/
It's about how an affair with a colleague breaks up a marriage ... it chronicles the consequences from this breach of the sanctity of marriage ... it offers a look at the mind of the man at the center of all this mess...
Start from the first post and keep going... and do go through the comments posted by other bloggers.... some are very nasty indeed... but as these comments come from people who are presently in affairs, or are sons/daughters of families torn apart by affairs, or by spouses of ones who were/are in an affair, they offer a lot of food for thought....
... And while I don't sympathize with the guy .... I do appreciate the honest way in which he has written it all down... the motivation... the feeling... the regret.... the sorrow... This blog, in my opinion captures another aspect of human frailty ...
Maybe someone's marriage could be saved from reading that guy's tale? ....

I didnt read his blog yet..but sounds like a silly thing for him to do...even if he's being honest now.
I mean if a guy wants to go ahead and have an affair with someone else while he has a wife sitting at home, there are 2 things we can say abt this:
1.He's not in love with his wife anymore and he has a good reason to fall for another woman.
2.He's a cheat who wants to keep both.
In the 1st situation he can be understood and maybe a separation will do good for both him and his wife.
If he's in the 2nd category, he should be given 'zilch' attention...but how do we know what he's writing in the blog is even true?

but at Keshi said ...he is enjoying on all sides and thru his blog too ....could be very well a made up story with the hands and mind of an excellent writer ....

Ya, he may just be a very gifted writer... but, there is stuff in there that even if completely false, really makes one think...
I definitely do not condone his actions and I hate the fact that a family was broken up.... but, given that affairs do happen and nowadays it happens too often... we get a peek into the mindset of a person who could do such a thing...
I'll follow this post with one on what I think of marriages... I think that would put two stark extremes into perspective...
I agree with Ash....he could be a gifted writer just wanting to get some attention in rather a cheap way...

yes it happens too often...but not if ppl think twice b4 they jump into desire...there r still some wise ppl left in this world...:)

i read his blog, and i can`t bring myself to accept his reasons for infidelity. there are simply no reasons that can justify a spouses`s unfaithfulness. period.
... I agree ... I told ya that I didn't condone his actions... u also do know what are my thoughts on marriage... His blog just tells us of what probably goes on in the heads of people involved in such things... nothing else....
